FIVESTAR HOBBIES v2 FURI
The most FURIous chassis on the market right now is unanimously the v2Furi. Updated to be the lightest, fastest, and easiest driving car you'll ever own! In most cases, it will require a body on the chassis to achieve minimum weight!
The split front end design will allow you to transition the weight bias of the car without having to add any weight, keeping the car as light as possible. New to the v2 is adjustable width for your caster blocks and servo mounts, this allows you to run wider batteries and a wider wheelbase if desired.
Some of the noticeable changes from the original FURI would be the front shock tower bracing. This adds strength and consistency to your passes. Next is the thinner 3.5mm chassis. This will lessen the weight of the chassis but still stiff enough to make a consistent run every time. The new Onyx 3D printed front bumper now clips into the chassis! No more bent screws or unnecessary weight! Snaps into place and is also held in place by your battery strapping tape! Another notable front end design change is the front floating body mount kit. Utilizing a hub mount for simple, lightweight, and extremely efficient operation.
To use two servos, you can use a "Y" cable plugged into channel 1 on the receiver. Or plug one servo into channel 1 and the second servo into channel 3 on the receiver. (This option will require some programing in your transmitter to work together.)
The rear end of the car has be simplified immensely! The new rear floating body mount will mount directly to the hub with no arms or sliders to mess with. This also includes the ball stud mount! The included part in the kit is made of a strong aluminum, a lightweight Onyx 3D printed part is available. The all-new low profile shock tower is narrowed and includes 3 ball stud mounting locations for your camber link. A new longer wheelie bar is included into this kit along with our TEAM FIVE STAR CARBON FIBER ADJUSTER ROD IN BLACK.
The tested and proven Yeah Racing touring car shocks are still included into the V2 FURI kit. We have changed the rear to 55mm vs the original 50mm for more travel.
The Five Star C and D blocks are constructed of delrin and raise the transmission 12mm. Optional D blocks are available for tuning options which include up to 2 degrees of Toe in, Pro Squat or Anti Squat.
