1) Well just about every set of aluminum screw sets we tested stripped, some sooner than others, as the aluminum under heat of the motor starts to get very soft. And aluminum is a much less expensive material than grade 5 titanium and nowhere near as durable.
2) By using Hi-Grade 5 Titanium, we’ve eliminated the magnetic rotor interference and reduced rotational drag on the rotor with our Grade 5 Titanium Screws. The stock steel screws interfere with magnetic fields in the motor, causing drag on the rotor and holding it back from its full potential.
